Many Superlatives

I am glad March and the first quarter are behind us.

We just ended the worst quarter since 2008 and the worst 1st quarter in the history of the markets.

We experienced the fastest and largest decline into a bear market from all-time highs. Followed by the largest advance in 87 years.

We experienced the absolute worst return for EVERY Russell Value index, the Russell 2000 index and the Russell Microcap index.

It was also the most volatile month ever as you can see in the Chart of the Day:
