“September 11 impressed upon us that life is a precious gift… And I think we all have a duty to devote at least a small portion of our daily lives to ensuring that neither America nor the world ever forgets September 11.” ~Bill Frist, Former United States Senator

9/11 is a Day of Remembrance and has left an indelible impression on everyone who endured.

There are countless stories of bravery and heroics. I wanted to share with you today the story of the Man in the Red Bandana. Every time Wells Crowther took the lacrosse field for Boston College he wore a red bandana. This documentary on Wells profiled his courage and selflessness 17 years ago on this very day. The story outlines how the Man in the Red Bandana saved at least 10 people from the South Tower before losing his life trying to save others.

Also, I encourage you to take a moment to call the Flight 93 Memorial cell phone tour number: 814-619-2065 and press 204. Then listen to their stories.
