Thomas P. Meyer works as a Portfolio Manager at Meyer Capital Group. His main responsibilities include investment research, trading, and rebalancing client portfolios. Tom also serves as an Investment Committee member and plays an integral part in our client portal design. Prior to becoming a full-time employee at MCG, Tom learned the industry ropes from his father and earned his stripes by serving as an intern with the firm for three years. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation. This assure that those responsible for managing or advising on investor assets have a fundamental understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility. He holds a FINRA Series 65 license.
Tom is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Stillman School of Business. Over the course of his academic career, Tom was named to the Dean’s List and has won leadership awards for his teamwork. He also held the role of Risk Manager and sat on the Standards Board for his fraternity.
Tom is passionate about cars, personal fitness and all Philadelphia sports teams so in his spare time he can be found at the working out at the gym or watching a game.
